TireMinder offers two types of transmitters: brass and aluminum. Using the correct one ensures proper fit and prevents corrosion.
- Rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel-plated valve stems ➜ Use brass transmitters
- Aluminum valve stems ➜ Use aluminum transmitters
Cars, trucks, SUVs:
- Rubber stem ➜ Brass transmitter
- Aluminum stem ➜ Aluminum transmitter
RVs, trailers, 5th wheels, motorhomes:
- All valve stem types (rubber, steel, chrome, nickel-plated) ➜ Use brass transmitters
