Which One Should I Use?
TireMinder offers two types of transmitters: brass and aluminum. Using the correct one ensures proper fit and prevents corrosion.

Rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel-plated valve stems ➜ Use brass transmitters

Aluminum valve stems ➜ Use aluminum transmitters
Cars, trucks, SUVs:

Rubber stem ➜ Brass transmitter

Aluminum stem ➜ Aluminum transmitter
RVs, trailers, 5th wheels, motorhomes:

All valve stem types (rubber, steel, chrome, nickel-plated) ➜ Use brass transmitters
Note: All TireMinder kits include brass transmitters. Aluminum transmitters are sold separately if needed.
